Spill The Tea: A Cutty Crew Takeover

On 16 July 2021 the Royal Museums Greenwich Youth Collective produced an evening takeover on Cutty Sark. This year's collective known as 'Cutty Crewconsisted of: Joshlyn Evans, Frederick Fynn-Famodun, Rachel Galbraith, Millie Hamilton, Sarah Hocine, Daniel Kamere, Olaitan Komolafe, Nasir Muhammad, Jade Ngoc, Tunmike Onibuje and Peter Wareing.

Spill the Tea was a takeover that allowed people to come together to shed light on the themes of diversity, equality, unity, audacity, identity and community. The crew wanted to create a space where people could talk freely and express their views and opinions with confidence. Subverting the traditional Tea Party, the evening was filled with artists, performances, poets, games and food.
