See who's on the bill for our May show:
Helen Bauer – headlining
Known for being a comedy powerhouse with an electric stage presence, Helen is one of the UK’s most exciting rising stand-up stars.
TV appearances include Live At The Apollo (BBC2), Stand Up For Live Comedy: BBC Presents (BBC 1 & 3), The Stand Up Sketch Show, Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled, and Hypothetical (Dave) amongst others. Helen also co-hosts the podcast Trusty Hogs with fellow comedian Catherine Bohart.
Sam Coade
Sam Coade (BBC Radio 4) is an award-winning comedian and writer whose natural warmth and offbeat gags have seen him become an audience favourite at clubs across the country.
He regularly performs at top clubs, including The Comedy Store, Komedia, Angel Comedy, and Up The Creek.
“Fantastic” - Evening Standard.
“One of the brightest gag writers to emerge in the last few years” - Laugh Train Home.
“Sam Coade knows exactly where the laughs are” - All Edinburgh Theatre.
Micky Overman
Micky Overman is an award-nominated comedian whose previous Edinburgh shows received critical acclaim. Her last hour, The Precipice, was one of the best-reviewed shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She has written for and acted in sketches for ITV2, Channel 4 and BBC3, and her social media content has received over 40 million views online.
Originally from the Netherlands, Micky's outsider perspective, quick wit, silly delivery and spot-on observations make her one of Britain's most exciting female voices. Praise for Micky Overman:
“Top-notch lines that wouldn’t be out of place in an A-lister’s Netflix special” - Chortle.
"A pin-sharp torrent of precision gags and delightfully silly one-liners" - The Observer.
“The energy of a head girl gone wild” - The List.
