In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Upon consideration of your letter of the 20th inst; relating to the changing of the Masts in the ROYAL SOVEREIGN for made Masts, which the Earl of Torrington has desired, which you judge will be more serviceable for her than whole Trees, we direct you to cause Masts to be made for this Vessel accordingly, and that any other Works at Chatham may not be hindered thereby.
You are to cause such further number of Workmen to be entered in that Yard as you think requisite for carrying on all the Works to be dispatched there.
