About the Patrons Circle
The Patrons Circle is a dedicated community of like-minded people. Patrons’ donations go directly to supporting the central work of the Museum and its most urgent needs.
In return for your generous commitment to Royal Museums Greenwich, you will enjoy a close relationship with the Museum, exploring its collection and benefitting from its expertise. Through an exclusive and varied events programme, you will explore behind the scenes, deepen your connection to these important histories and unearth new passions.

There are three levels with a variety of benefits for you to choose from:
Silver Patrons
£1,500 annually or £125 per month
Silver Patrons of Royal Museums Greenwich support the vital work of the Museum and enjoy opportunities to explore the collection and celebrate successes. Join this like-minded group to get closer to the Museum’s work and play a role in keeping it available for all.
Silver Patron Benefits
Silver Patrons enjoy the following benefits:
- Access to a tailored programme of Patron-only events across the Royal Museums Greenwich sites with opportunities for a guest to join you, when available
- Visits to the conservation studios at the Prince Philip Maritime Collection Centre and opportunities to experience at-risk conservation skills through workshops
- Invitations to special exhibition openings to celebrate with Royal Museums Greenwich
- Exclusive private visits to places of interest across London and further afield
- Free entry to all Royal Museums Greenwich sites for you and a guest, including special exhibitions
- One-to-one meetings with the Patrons Manager to discuss future plans for the Museum
- 10% off other ticketed Royal Museums Greenwich events, such as concerts at the Queen’s House, and personalised priority booking with the Patrons Manager
- 20% discount in all Royal Museums Greenwich cafes and shops
- A free copy of the development magazine
- A signature pin badge indicating patronage
- An invitation to join specially designed Patron International and UK tours.
Benefits can be purchased separately for £300 without making any further donation. The balance of £1,200 is a suggested donation that goes towards supporting the Museum’s work.
Gold Patrons
£3,000 annually or £250 per month
Gold Patrons are committed in their support of the Museum and receive greater access behind the scenes. Opportunities to be involved in discussion, discovery and debate as a well as meeting one-on-one with curators allows Gold Patrons to develop deeper understanding.
Gold Patron Benefits
Gold Patrons enjoy all the benefits of Silver Patrons, as well as:
- Preferential booking for all Patron-only events and the opportunity to bring a guest
- An additional Patrons card for a named guest of your choice to enjoy all the benefits
- Free entry to all Royal Museums Greenwich sites for you and two guests, including special exhibitions
- Free entry across Royal Museums Greenwich for any children under 15
- Invitations to special events and landmark occasions such as recordings, book launches and partnership events
- Invitations to take part in Royal Museums Greenwich conferences and seminars with academics and researchers
- Regular opportunities to consult a Museum curator about an object that you own.
Benefits can be purchased separately for £350 without making any further donation. The balance of £2,650 is a suggested donation that goes toward support the Museum’s work.
Platinum Patrons
£5,000 annually or £416.66 per month
Platinum Patrons preserve the future of the Museum through their support. They are invited to play a role in the Museum’s plans and ambitions, meeting with the Director to discuss them, and experiencing the best Royal Museums Greenwich has to offer through exclusive events and opportunities.
Platinum Patron Benefits
Platinum Patrons enjoy all the benefits of Gold Patrons, as well as:
- Exclusive invitation to a biennial dinner with the Royal Museums Greenwich Director and Trustees
- Invitation to a regular consultation event with the Director and Trustees to discuss Museum plans
- Book a private tour for you and your guests for an exclusive exploration of the collection
- Opportunities to meet and collaborate with the Director of the Museum
- Host a private event at your home with a curator
- Adopt an object – choose an object that means something significant to you and receive one year of recognition and a report on its place in the collection
- Receive an impact briefing on the work of the Museum
- Free entry to all Royal Museums Greenwich sites for you and three guests, including special exhibitions
- Free copies of Royal Museums Greenwich publications, signed by the author.
Benefits can be purchased separately for £400 without making any further donation. The balance of £4,600 is a suggested donation that goes towards supporting the Museum’s work.
