In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

You are directed to take off the stop put on the wages due to Captain George Byng for his service in the ROYAL OAK, when he received on board a considerable quantity of oil taken from the enemy by Captain Fitzpatrick. The sum of £20 was imprested to Captain Byng when he commanded the DOVER, which was to be employed for getting men for the ship. You are to have the imprest bill for this money cleared upon Captain Bing making oath that he did disburse the money for this service.
