Document signed by Henry Guy, Secretary to the Treasury, 1631-1711.

The Lords Commissioners of the Treasury direct you to attend them here at 5 o'clock this afternoon, and that you come prepared to answer the following queries: 1. What quantity of hemp is in store contracted for. 2. How long that will employ the men in the ropeyards. 3. If there is want of hemp, what place wants it most and what supplies will be necessary to keep the men in each ropeyard employed until Michaelmas next.
