Salsette (1886)
A whole plate negative. A slightly distant port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the 3 masted ship rigged vessel Salsette (1886) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has double topsails, single topgallants and royals. She is well laden and the hull below her painted ports is in an unmaintained condition. Tilbury Fort Watergate is in the background. Negatives numbers G2300 and G2308 were taken on the same occasion.
