A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the crew and Royal Marine's mess between 50 and 56 stations on 3 deck. The photographer is in the middle of the port side of the mess looking aft showing two tidy triple tier bunk units and three kit lockers on the left. An automatic emergency lantern is on the back of a locker in the right foreground and beyond it are a notice board and mail rack. A triple tier bunk unit is against the aft bulkhead. A vertical format negative.
