On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Berwick (1959) alongside the south wall in No.3 basin at Chatham Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 4 December 1967 and completed 4 June 1971. The photographer is in the 4.5 inch magazine between 23 and 27 stations on 4 deck looking forward and to starboard from the starboard side of the centreline at 26 station showing bottle racks for 4.5 inch cartridges and a shelf rack for whips and stays and for A/S 12 warheads. Two Slingsby trolleys on brackets are against the ship's side. A vertical format negative.
