The Kasino Hotel and the seafront at Zoppot, Free City of Danzig. Zoppot was part of the Free City of Danzig from 1920 to 1939. The photographer is looking west from the end of the wooden pier showing a large number of basket seats scattered on the beach with each one having a low embankment round it. The hotel, which opened in 1927, is on the right and another hotel is on the left.
