Scale 1:24. Plan shows the midship section of an unnamed proposed three decked ship (1842). The title of the plan is "Midship Section of a three decked ship as proposed by the Committee of Master Shipwrights in pursuance of Admiralty order of 23 December 1841". The drawing bears the signatures of Thomas F. Hawkes [Master Shipwright at Plymouth Dockyard 1837-1844], Richard Blake [Master Shipwright at Portsmouth Yard 1835-1842], John Fincham [Master Shipwright at Chatham Dockyard 1839-1842] and James Atkins [Master Shipwright at Sheerness Dockyard 1839-1842]. The plan states that the drawing has not been signed by Oliver Lang for the reasons given in his observations at the end of the report.
