Obverse: Neptune, a trident in his left and a wreath in his right hand, standing on the seashore, his right leg resting on a rock. Legend: 'HONNEUR AUX BRAVES MARINS FRANCAIS' (Honour to the brave French sailors). Reverse: Fame, winged, a wreath raised in either hand, standing on the globe. Legend: 'MER BALTIQUE . 1854 1855 . MER NOIRE.' Inscription: (left) 'BOMARSUND SWEABORG' (right); 'SÉBASTOPOL KINBURN'.
