Lizard (1757)
Scale 1:96. A drawing of the Coventry Class 28 gun frigate Lizard (1757) as converted to a hospital ship, made at Chatham Dockyard by Edward Sison and dated 24 February 1800. Showing a profile with internal detail, and plans of the lower, upper and spar decks. With the following inscriptions:
-'Profile Draught and Plans of the Lizard as fitted for the Sick on board the Lazarettoo at Chatham' ('as fitted for a Hospital Ship' crossed out)
-'N.B. The Ports fitted with folding Doors and Scuttles with sashes as shewn at...'
-'A copy of this was given to Sir Andrew Hamond in March 1800'
-'Profile Draught and Plans of the Lizard as fitted for the Sick on board the Lazarettoo at Chatham' ('as fitted for a Hospital Ship' crossed out)
