'Victoria & Albert' (1855)
Scale 1:48. A plan showing the sheer lines, body with sternboard and longitudinal half-breadth of the Royal Yacht 'Victoria & Albert' (1855). The plan has been signed by Oliver W. Lang [Master Shipwright of Pembroke Yard in 1855].
A note on the plan reads 'The Alterations in red with the exception of the Decks which are shown in blue'.
A further note from the Chief Constructor dated 13 March 1885 acknowledges the return of the plan. The signature is not legible but it would be that of Nathaniel Barnaby, as his tenure as Chief Constructor [from 1870 to 1885] had not yet finished when the plan was signed.
