CDR. Eric South Stanger Collection (date unkown-1989)

This is a red plastic post bound album, containing 196 black and white prints of various sizes (snapshots up to 216mm x 241mm). Stanger was an Engineer Commander and served in the RN 1926-58, and this album documents his naval career 1926-34 and also includes topographical images.
The album inlcudes the following vessels: HMS Erebus, HMS Shropshire, HMS Calcutta, HMS Acasta (H 09), HMS Arrow (H 42), Short S17 Kent Flying Boat.
The album includes the following locations: Gibraltar, Malta, Palestine, Yugoslavia and the Balkans, Belgrade, Corfu, Cyprus, Rhodes, Dalmatian coast and Aegean, Athens, Florence, Pish, Suez Canal, Aden, River Danube, Koto, Budva, Mataluka bay, Rab, Limassol, Nauplia, Gulf of Corinth.
The album also includes Fairey IIIF launch (S1550) from Shropshire and crash (S1837), Lord Louis Mountbatten.
