Galatea (1934)
Scale 1:96. Plan shows the sections as fitted, of the Arethusa light cruiser Galatea (1934). The drawing includes alterations in vermillion ink made at Chatham Dockyard dated February 1941. The plan includes two Scott's Shipbuilding stamps dated 11 September 1935 on the left hand side of the plan. The latter stamp includes the signature of the Director of Naval Construction Sir Arthur Johns. The plan shows the sections at stations 92, 108, 128, 140, 146, and 155 looking aftwards. The plan also shows the sections at stations 13, 29, 37, 55 and 75 looking forward. Part of the paper is starting to come away from the linen backing.
