[Land to the westward of Cape Crawford].
Pen and ink drawing showing two vessels under sail, with high cliffs in the background. This appears to show HMS HECLA (1815) and HMS FURY (1814) near to Cape Crawford in Lancaster Sound during the expedition to find the North-West Passage in 1824-1825. The drawing shows the hulls being rocked using the sallying technique in order to make progress westward through the pack ice. No date or signature has been added.
