In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Enclosing a copy of the Petition of Sir William Gore Contractor, requesting permission to buy certain goods that were aboard the ship PEACE when she was taken by a French Privateer based in Holland and supposedly deposited in Dunkirk, in order to fulfil his contract with the Navy.
