In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Soldiers of the two Marine Regiments who have been stopped their pay due to being absent from their ships are to be paid the missing wages provided senior officers can certify that the men were on leave or employed in recruiting. And while it is intended that the DUTCHESS, LONDON and ROYAL KATHERINE will proceed to the Nore and remain there until next summer crewed with about two hundred men each, the Commissioners for Victualling are to be ordered to replenish the ships' provisions as they see proper.
