In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The Memorial of James Mallory, late Lieutenant to Captain Anthony Duncomb in which he claims that having recruited a considerable number of Men for Captain Duncomb, Duncomb was transferred, causing the Men not to be registered with the Clerk of the Cheque. He further claims that throughout the period of recruiting he paid for the subsistence of his assistants from his own resources and therefore applies for reimbursement. Appended is a note recording the referring of the Petition to the Navy Board. Countersigned by William Bridgeman, Secretary to the Admiralty Board.
