In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The PRUDENCE Hired ship is to be fitted at Portsmouth. Agreement is given to her owners suggestion that this can be done more quickly either by docking her or by using the ways. An estimate is required of the time to be taken to complete the current orders for new ships; and instructions are given for the two new eighty guns ships now building at Deptford and Chatham to be built with three decks.
