In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

We direct you to sign a Bill on the Navy Treasurer for paying Thomas Neale, Master of HM Mint, the sum of one hundred pounds for enabling him to provide a Medal and Chain of that value for Captain William Holman, Commander of the WILLIAM & MARY Galley, as a reward for his good service against the Enemy in raising fortifications at the Harbour of Terriland in Newfoundland, defending the same, and the Fishery there from two French Men of War of 40 and 50 Guns each.
The Bill is to be assigned for payment out of the money received by the Navy Treasurer for the tenths of Prizes appointed by a late Act of Parliament for Medals and other rewards for Officers, Mariners and Seamen in HM service at Sea.
