Document signed by Josiah Burchett (c.1666-1746), Secretary to the Admiralty (1694-1742)

In answer to your letter of June 26th last I inform you that that the Vessel which Captain Gallway commanded when he received the wounds from the Enemy, from which he died, was the MARTIN Ketch.
As to Isaac Dupleix, ordered to be discharged , I have enquired about him and am informed that he is now sick in Chatham hospital, but do not know his Ship.
