In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

We are informed that several of the Frigate and Bomb Vessels which have been employed against St. Malo have lost a great many anchors and cables, for a supply of which they will come to Spithead. The Portsmouth Navy Commissioner has informed us that he will not be able to furnish these from his Stores there, so we direct you to cause such a supply as cannot be furnished at Portsmouth to be sent there as soon as possible, giving us an account of what you do.
You have informed us that the 5th Rate building at Shoreham will be launched in a month's time. You are to cause another Ship of like dimensions to be set up as soon as she is launched, and completed as soon as may be.
