In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

We direct you to get in readiness at Portsmouth a sufficient Quantity of Provisions to complete the victualling of each of the third Rate Ships named in the margin to eight months dry and two months wet Provisions for their highest complement of Men, so that they may be supplied on coming to Spithead.
You are also to order the GLOUCESTER after she is sheathed at Plymouth to be furnished with eight months dry and two months wet Provisions for her highest number of Men.
Ships in the margin:- CHICHESTER; CAMBRIDGE; SHREWSBURY; YARMOUTH.
