Lieutenant Edward Manning, 2nd Lieutenant of the MONTAGU, gave evidence in Town at the trial of Captain William Bridges, her former Commander. He was in Town from February 1st until April 17th last until appointed Lieutenant of the RUBY Prize. Direct you to make him allowances for this period as Lieutenant of MONTAGU, and also from the time there were any Men entered on her Tenders to serve in her, provided his Commission bears dates before this time. These allowances to be paid to him by Bill.
