In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Our Order of the 10th inst; directed you to provide eight months dry and two months wet Provisions for the CHICHESTER, CAMBRIDGE, SHREWSBURY and YARMOUTH. These ships are now to be provided with six months dry and two months wet Provisions for their highest complement of Men when arriving at Spithead. After the GLOUCESTER is sheathed at Plymouth she is also to be furnished with six months dry and two months wet Provisions for her highest complement of Men.
