By our Warrant of 4th June last we have appointed Joseph Allen, second Assistant to the Master Shipwright of the Portsmouth Yard, to be first Assistant at this Yard.
He is now in Cadiz and can be entered first Assistant from the time he was discharged as second, notwithstanding he has not received his Warrant for that employment, which is waiting in this Office for his return to England.
