In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The WEYMOUTH has taken from the Enemy and brought into Plymouth a Ship called the COUNT ROUEL, which is said may carry forty eight Guns.
We direct you cause her to be surveyed, and if you judge her fit to serve as a Guardship you are to cause her to be bought from the Prize Officers and account to us what you do, together with your opinion of what Men and Guns may be proper for her.
Whereas we directed you lately to cause the four fourth Rates now building to be sheathed, you are to forbear doing this till further orders.
