In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Mr Meesters has informed us by his letter of yesterday's date from Deal that the Machine Vessels have been driven from the Coast of France by a storm, and have suffered very much by a loss of Cables, Anchors and Boats.
We have sent Orders to Mr Stock to furnish them with they want to enable them to go to Sea as soon as possible.
In case there are not sufficient Stores for them at Deal, we direct you to send what is needed to the Downs, and if the LOYALTY, now there, has any Stores suitable for the Machine Vessels, you are to give Orders for furnishing them from her.
