Document signed by Josiah Burchett (c.1666-1746), Secretary to the Admiralty (1694-1742)

In answer to your letter of 12 August about convoy for the CANTERBURY storeship, I am advised that the NORWICH is going to Kinsale with Commander Tymenre and he has orders to convoy her to Bantry and to cruise off there until she is laden and then bring her to Plymouth. Orders are lodged there for the first man-of-war bound eastward to see her to the Nore.
