In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
You are directed to sign a bill on the Treasurer of the Navy for paying Thomas Neal, Master of His Majesty's Mint, the sum of £30 to provide a medal of that value to John White, for bringing into port a merchant ship after she was taken by the enemy. The bill is to be signed out of money received by the Treasurer of the Navy for tenths of prizes and appointed by Act of Parliament for medals and other rewards to officers, marines and seamen.
