In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Richard Rawlinson, Martha his wife, Sarah his daughter, have confessed to receiving several sums of money on forged Letters of Attorney in seamen's names. £231.16.07 for men of the GUERNSEY, HAMPSHIRE and HARWICH. £75 for men of the SCARBROUGH ketch. £21.10.06 for men of the DRAGON. £41.15.00 for men of the EXETER They have promised to repay His Majesty and you are directed to have the money received by the Treasurer of the Navy and to give an account of when the money is received. Their Excellencies the Lords Justices of England have resolved to pardon them in consideration of this repayment.
