In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Commissioner St.Loe has stated that ships at Plymouth are frequently delayed departing following a refit due to provisions not being supplied to them promptly; and that it would more advantageous if the Victualling Office were moved to Empycombe which is close by. An extract of his letter is enclosed together with instructions to order the Victualling Board to hasten supplies. The Navy Board is also to give their opinion on St Loe's proposal to relocate the Victualling Office.
