In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The Navy Board having written to the Admiralty with copies of letters from the Commissioners for Victualling and their Agent at Plymouth with regard to establishing a victualling facility at Emple-Compe (Empacombe) on the opposite side of the Hamoaze (to Devonport), the Board is rebuked for not having given their opinion on the proposals and are now sked to do so.
