In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

A letter has been received from Colonel Richards concerning the fitting out of Bomb Vessels a copy of which is enclosed. In addition to the vessels already ordered to be fitted out instructions are issued for as many other vessels as can be equipped as Bomb Vessels to be similarly equipped as a matter of urgency and in the manner prescribed by Colonel Richards; and informing that whereas Orders have been given for the CHARLOTTE Yacht to join Admiral Russell in the Downs the NAVY Yacht is to be fitted out instead.
