We are sending enclosed the Petition of John Stretch, Attorney to Randolph Vaudry, formerly Chaplain to the DIAMOND, together with a Certificate from Captain Wickham, concerning his appointment to that Office by Captain Wren, C-in-C of HM Ships in the West Indies. We direct you to pay Randolph Vaudry as Chaplain of the DIAMOND for the time he served in her, notwithstanding his Warrant not being produced to you, it being alleged it is lost.
