In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We have determined that now the Fleet is at Sea, no more than one Tender shall be allowed to each first and second Rate, and one between every two third Rates. We direct you to cause the remainder to be discharged, for which we have sent Orders to the Chief Flag Officer of the Fleet. You are to cause the ROE and MARTIN Ketches to attend on the Flag Ships in the Fleet, and also the QUAKER so soon as she comes into Port in order to be reduced (which you shall have notice of) and that then the other Tenders belonging to these Ships be discharged.
