In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Captain St. Lo, Commissioner of the Navy at Plymouth, has made a proposal to this Board that a Watchman may be kept on Maker Church for giving advice by Signal to the Dock of what Ships shall from time to time pass by, or come into that Port, which he says a Labourer will undertake to do at fourteen pence per day.
