In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
In pursuance of HM's pleasure signified to this Board by the Duke of Shewsbury in his letter yesterday, we direct you to send orders to the Portsmouth Navy Commissioners to furnish Captain Van der Goes, Commander of the States Ship MAAS, now at Spithead, with a Foremast and Bowsprit, and the necessaries belonging thereto, taking his receipt for the same, that they may be either restored in Specie or the Value thereof paid in Money.
