Mr Cordwent having clothed my Regiment for the year 1695 as I have already hinted to your Lordships in my letter of the 7th inst; and there being due to him for the same the sum of £3300, I desire you give orders it may be imprest and charged on the Soldiers' Wages for the years 1695 and 1696.
