In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Mary Morden, Widow of George Morden, lately belonging to the MILFORD, has presented a Petition to this Board stating that her husband was slain in fight on board that Ship when she was taken by the Enemy, but as most of her Officers were killed, she does not have their Certificates. We direct you, in case it appears to you that George Morden was killed, to make the usual allowance of Bounty to the Widow and Orphans, notwithstanding the want of Certificates from the proper Officers.
