The Court having examined several witnesses, resolved that the late Master, John Byron is a drunken, idle fellow and not fit to be employed in the Navy. That Lieutenant Higgins had misbehaved himself under Article 21 and the Court fines him 12 months pay to be paid to the Chest at Chatham for the use of sick and wounded seamen. That Captain Griffiths has been remiss in his duty and the Court orders that he shall receive a severe reprimand.
