In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
You are directed to have the boat's crew which attended Colonel Richards last summer, during the time he was employed in fitting the bomb vessels, to be borne on victuals and wages on board the several bomb vessels to which they were distributed by the Clerk of the Cheque at Woolwich. This is not withstanding that they did not appear at the musters, which they were prevented from doing by their frequent coming and going with Colonel Richards in the Thames and to the Buoy of the Nore.
