We have confirmed a warrant given by Sir George Rooke for William Barrat to be Master Carpenter of the NEPTUNE, in place of the former removed into the ROYAL WILLIAM. You are directed to enter him accordingly together with such allowance of wages and victuals for himself and servant as is proper. His warrant is to be dated 9 November 1696.
