By order from their Lordships you were directed to have David Kilpatrick, Surgeon of the DUNWICH, removed to a ship not bound for the Straits in order that he should be present when Captain Smith his late commander is tried. David Kilpatrick states that he is now appointed to the LOOE which is now ordered on a foreign voyage. You are directed to give orders to Surgeons Hall that David Kilpatrick be removed to the ASSURANCE guardship or any other 5th Rate ship which is not ordered on a foreign voyage.
