In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We have thought fit to confirm the warrant given by Sir George Rooke, Admiral of the Fleet, on 14 December 1695, appointing John Lywood, Master Cook of the MORTAR, bomb vessel, in place of the former deceased. You are directed to enter him accordingly together with such allowance of wages and victuals for himself and servant as is proper. His warrant is to be dated 18 November 1696.
