In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Your letter of 3 November advised us that the DUNKIRK may be repaired at Mr Wells's yard at Deptford. We have directed Captain Munden, Commander-in-Chief in the Thames and Medway, to order her to Longreach and you are directed to have her brought from there to Mr Wells's yard by the Ordinary and Riggers at Deptford and Woolwich. She is to be cleaned and refitted for service in the Channel with her highest complement of men and victualled for 3 months.
