In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We wrote to you on 23 November about the 6 brigantines mentioned therein. We have resolved that they shall be fitted out this winter to press men for the fleet in the River, besides the tenders allowed for that service and are not to be appropriated to any of the Flag Ships or others. You are directed to have fitted accordingly and manned and victualled as usual for this service.
