William Pott is to be appointed Purser of the new 4th Rate building at Mr Parker's yard on the Hampton River as soon as she shall be ready to receive him. You are directed to enter him accordingly together with such allowance of wages and victuals for himself and servant as is proper. His warrant is to be dated 30 November 1696.
